 Guillermo Anzorena ( Argentina )  Guillermo Anzorena was born in Argentina and has been living in Karlsruhe since 1994. He studied singing with Prof. Fenicia M. de Cangemi at National University in Cuyo. In 1991 he was award winner at the ‘Young Voices’ singing competition in Buenos Aires, and in 1993 was named ‘Young Talent of the Year’ by the Richard Wagner Society. In Germany he studied Lied with Mitsuko Shirai and Hartmut Höll followed by studies with Prof. Roland Hermann, Prof. Lucretia West and Prof. Donald Litaker and finished his opera education at the Institute of Music and Theatre Karlsruhe. Engagements as an opera singer have taken him to Junge Oper Stuttgart and to festivals such as Konstanzer Opernsommer. He is also a lecturer at the Hochschule für Kirchemusik in Tübingen. Guillermo Anzorena has been a member of Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart since March 2000. [back] |
