Roderic Keating ( - )

Roderic Keating, born in England, studied at the University of Cambridge, Yale (USA) and Texas (Austin, TX USA). After performing in Houston and San Francisco, he debuted in Europe next to Josef Meinrad as Freddy in My Fair Lady at the Theater an der Wien. He participated in the Edinburgh, Salzburg, Vienna, and Schwetzingen festivals, and performed in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Covent Garden (London), Paris, Bologna, Trieste, Tiflis, and Tel Aviv. After years of being a lyrical tenor, he became an opera singer, becoming internationally renowned as a singer of contemporary music (Piet vom Faß in György Ligeti’s Grand Macabre, and Chebutykin in Peter Eötvos’ 3 Schwestern). He has had several performances with the Neuen Vocalsolisten Stuttgart under the direction of Manfred Schreier. Roderic Keating is now a member of the ensemble of the Stuttgarter Staatstheater (Stuttgart State Theater) for 17 years.
